Description: Pendulum “BOTY-LEFEVRE a Liège”, c. 1799.

The audience clock in gilded bronze, from the Directoire period, with extremely rare moon phase mechanics by Mathieu-Joseph BOTY in Liege. Two signatures of BOTY, one on the remarkable dial with paintings symbolizing Justice by the talented enameller Joseph COTEAU, the other engraved on the back plate of the movement.
